Polar Design Build has finalized construction on a 27,300 square-foot (s.f.) truck rental and repair center in Norton, Massachusetts. Built on a19.3-acre lot within the Norton Commerce Center, Polar Design Build collaborated with architect AHP Architects, civil engineer Condyne Engineering Group, structural engineer Flood Consulting, and MEP engineer Avid Engineers on the design.
The site includes a two-lane fuel island with a 20,000-gallon tank. There are 13 truck service bays, a wash bay, a lube equipment room, and a tire carousel area. The property boasts a welcoming driver’s lounge and reception area in the front. The second level of the interior houses associated operational offices and a conference room. Finally, a break room, locker rooms, and a training room were installed upstairs for employee use.
The new two-floor rental and repair center features architectural metal panels, masonry block, and exterior glazing. It offers more than 120 parking spaces with room for tractor trailers, box trucks, and a rental fleet. The first level of the of the interior showcases an area dedicated to truck repair and parts storage.
